A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring a school emergency preparedness task force to review emergency preparedness training for school personnel

 

Be it enacted by the Council as follows:

Section 1.  Subdivision g of section 14-176 of the administrative code of the city of New York, as added by a local law for the year 2018 amending the administrative code of the city of New York relating to creating a school emergency preparedness task force, as proposed in introduction number 639-B, is amended by adding a new paragraph 5 to read as follows:

5. level of training of department of education personnel on school emergency protocols and procedures;

§ 2. This local law takes effect 120 days after it becomes law.
